Wirral lies just fifty miles from Manchester and a waterside hop to Liverpool. How could this relatively small area compete with its big city neighbours and bring in the big business?
By playing big. Wirral needed to BE big to attract the business players. With billions of pounds earmarked for redevelopment, Wirral was in need of an identity that could hold its own in the crowded inward investment marketplace. The brand, advertising, website and marketing materials were all given strength with striking colours, bold typography and powerful photographs. The area is home to major international companies such as Bristol Myers-Squibb, Unilever and Typhoo Tea and is to benefit from the dramatic transformation of the docklands area into the world class 'Wirral Waters' development.
The campaign meanwhile was a winner at the 2008 Property Marketing Awards.
