Cityco

To boost evening trade in the city, Cityco, the city centre management company for Manchester, wanted to create a culture of late night shopping, not just for Christmas, but all year round. Cityco encouraged retailers and businesses in the city centre to stay open later. Although the businesses reluctantly agreed to a trial, for the scheme to be a success, the shoppers needed to know about it.

We created the 'Bags More Time' campaign, with advertising and promotional events taking place all over the city centre: our real life mannequins in the window of Primark helped us secure plenty of column inches. Not what your average office workers were expecting on a cold February morning.

We plastered the 8pm message on buses, billboards and shop windows and now you'll find all the major stores in Manchester open for post-work purchasing.
