Creative Lynx proudly accepted the Geoff Brook Award for Innovation in New Media at the 2006 Pharmaceutical Marketing Society Advertising Awards held in London on Friday

The awards, now in their 21st year, commend excellence in Pharmaceutical Marketing and are widely recognised as the most important of their kind for the industry. This year the awards received over 350 entries across 17 categories. The Geoff Brook Award in particular looks to recognise innovation that pushes the boundaries and sets new standards in marketing.

The focus for the award was shifted this year from general advertising to concentrate on electronic marketing and attracted almost double the number of entries than previous years. Competition was stiff, with the judges impressed by a number of entries, but Creative Lynx's e-detail for Wyeth's Tazocin was singled out by the judges to score the prestigious top spot for the national award.

The panel commended Creative Lynx's approach to the project which they said embraced the latest technology in a practical and logical fashion to deliver an effective sales tool.

Dave Hunt, Head of E-Communications at Creative Lynx said of the award "We are absolutely delighted to receive this award. We are very proud of this piece and the way it has performed for our client since it was launched. It just shows that our approach of combining the best technology, market knowledge and design delivers real results"
