Corby in Northamptonshire is the subject of Creative Lynx’s major new place marketing campaign, aimed at encouraging first-time buyers and cash-strapped young professionals to move out of London.

The campaign kicked off in October with advertorials, ads and inserts in the capital’s press, local radio ads voiced by Stephen Fry and escalator panel advertising in key Zone One underground stations. The advertising campaign is supported by an information line and a new website, www.moreincorby.co.uk, which provides potential buyers with all the information they could possibly require on the town and its plans for the future.

The central ‘More’ theme of the campaign is targeted at Londoners who are looking to swap the congestion and over-priced housing of London for more green spaces, fresh air and affordable homes. Creative Lynx carried out the research, strategy and creative consultancy for the £1.2m project, which is part of the long-term strategy of the North Northants Development Company (NNDC) for the successful regeneration of Corby.
