Following recent award wins, Creative Lynx have added Bedford to their long list of regeneration and place marketing clients in the UK. The contract for Renaissance Bedford is to promote the ongoing regeneration of the town and outlying areas and Creative Lynx are charged with attracting investment, house-buyers and new residents to the area.

The account win comes as part of a hugely successful year for Creative Lynx who were recently awarded a prestigious Property Marketing Award for the first stage of a £1.2m, 3 year campaign for Corby in Northamptonshire. The agency is comfortably the UK's leading place marketing specialist with other recent account wins yet to be announced.

The Renaissance Bedford partnership was formed with the intention of helping drive forward the delivery of new houses, additional jobs and essential infrastructure in the Bedford and North Marston Vale area. The project involves branding, an integrated marketing campaign and online activity.

Speaking of the win, Steve Nicholas, Director at Creative Lynx and responsible for the agency's Public Sector and regeneration clients said "We're really pleased to be working with Bedford on this project. Regeneration is something we are passionate about and creative marketing and branding can play a large part in it's success through changing perceptions. As a business, the account win further cements our status as the leading place marketing & branding consultants in the UK which is never a bad thing!"

Commenting from the Bedford Renaissance team, Simon Jackson, Deputy Executive Director said "We're confident that having Creative Lynx on side will ensure that the image they create will help to realise the exciting vision we have for Bedford. We've been impressed with their past campaigns and are looking forward to working together and seeing the results."

Renaissance Bedford was formed to drive the delivery of the key housing commitments, totalling 19,500 dwellings by 2021; deliver employment growth of up to 19,500 additional jobs by 2021, through an enhanced inward investment drive focused on the Growth area and ensure that all the essential infrastructure needed to support and create sustainable communities in the future is put in place at the right time.

The campaign will be launched later this year.
