Creative Lynx has triumphed in the pharmaceutical industry¹s most prestigious marketing awards. The Manchester based independent creative group won Best New GP Advertisement category at the PM Society Advertising Awards 2003 with their campaign for Zoton Fastab.
Zoton is one of the UK¹s most prescribed products marketed by Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, with UK sales in excess of £250m per year.
The award, judged by healthcare professionals, was presented to Creative Lynx by Stephen Fry at the ceremony in London on Friday 30th January. Creative Lynx beat off stiff competition from London agencies Euro RSCG Life MSC, Torre Lazur McCann Healthcare London and Junction 11 Advertising.
David Whittingham from Creative Lynx said:
'We are delighted to win this award, and we are pleased that our work in this sector has been recognised for another year. To win in this category means a lot to us as it is voted for by doctors, and this is where all creative work within pharmaceutical marketing must really make the grade. We hope to continue our success at next year¹s awards.'
The Zoton Fastab campaign also received a commendation for the Geoff Brook Award for Innovation in Advertising.
