Manchester Agency Sweeps the Board at Awards

Creative Lynx boasts series of design wins including Young Professional of the Year

Creative Lynx, the Manchester based design agency, has recently swept the board at national and regional award ceremonies, demonstrating the wealth of design and digital talent in the North West.

The Princess Street agency, which was established in 1986, recently collected four award wins at the Insider Young Professionals Awards and Estates Gazette Awards in London.

Twenty-eight year old director, David Hunt was named the Insider Young Professional of the Year on Thursday 23rd April and is the first professional from a creative industry to be acknowledged for the award. In previous years the Young Professional award has been presented to those in the field of legal or financial services.

David also collected a second award at the event for his innovative digital work and was named Young Marketing and Media Professional. Since founding a digital practice at Creative Lynx in 2006, David has built a 20-strong team billing £1.2 million per annum. His work has seen particular success in the pharmaceutical industry where the agency holds the global brief for eDetailing to pharma giant, AstraZeneca. David says of his win,

"Manchester has a burgeoning digital and creative environment and it is wonderful that Creative Lynx has been acknowledged for our achievements in this area."

Director, Steve Nicholas, also experienced multiple success at Estates Gazette Property Awards held on Tuesday 21st April. For the second time the agency picked up an award for the Best Public Sector Campaign, for its “More in Corby” work on behalf of the Northants Development Company, following 10 years of winning at the awards. The campaign to promote Corby as a prosperous region for business investment and the workforce to locate to included promotional literature, digital marketing and corporate communications.

In addition, Steve also collected an award for Best Corporate Marketing for the agency’s work for Salford-based development company R&R.
