Manchester design group, Creative Lynx took home a prestigious HEIST award for education marketing at a glittering ceremony last night, one of only two agencies ever to do so. The Heist awards recognise excellence in education marketing and until now have been reserved for entry by in-house university and college marketing teams. For the first time the awards are open to agencies and Creative Lynx featured in the winning lists alongside just one other design agency.
Creative Lynx were presented with the award for their prospectus for Manchester Business Schools 'Manchester MBA' which has been instrumental in driving applications to the course. The judging panel commended the brochure for its uncluttered, simplistic and user friendly nature which they found refreshing. The judges commented The distinctive use of colour through the prospectus was striking, and the panel felt the entry managed to retain a traditional feel to achieve the objective to appeal to an international market.
Sue Crossley, Director at Creative Lynx said We're really thrilled to have been recognised for such a results driven award in such a crowded market place and by top-level judges . The HEIST awards are so unique in recognising this specific market and to be one of the first agencies to win an award is very exciting

The 17th Annual Heist Awards were presented at a ceremony hosted by Fiona Bruce at Manchester's Old Trafford football ground on May 3rd 2007.
